AdSevenIconChanger Changes Default Windows 7 Icons

Windows Forums member, Batupata, has released yet another great, free tool for Windows 7: AdSevenIconChanger. This tool changes the default icons in Windows 7. Here’s an example of how you’d change the shortcut arrow:

1. Download AdSevenIconChanger

2. Right click AdSevenIconChanger.exe and click Run as administrator.

294 Protect Yourself from Malware by Testing Programs in a Virtual Machine [How To]If you want to test a downloaded program but don’t want it destroying your data and sending your bank passwords to the other side of the world, you should probably test it in a safe environment that’s not connected to the rest of your home network. You can do this a number of ways; here are two suggestions:

  • Download the program on a spare computer that’s not connected to the rest of your home network.
  • Download the program in a virtual machine that’s isolated from your host machine.

If you don’t have a spare computer or want the convenience of testing without using a separate machine, you should use a virtual machine. In this guide, we’ll show you how to set up a virtual machine and how to isolate it from your home network so you can test software.

Intel logo Sandy Bridge: Intels New Processor Features (2nd Generation i3, i5, and i7)If I told you about Sandy Bridge theres a chance you don’t know what I am talking about. If I write that Intel is preparing a revolution in processor technology, maybe you can take the subject a more seriously. However, if I comment that the processor, which will appear at the beginning of the next year, is not going to be the fastest Intel processor ever, maybe you think that call that a revolution maybe is a bit exaggerated.
