Hi, I have tried the method a few times, and it just didn’t work for me, I have even try to create another email account using Outlook express with the same setting that work before the problem, and it still won’t work for me, so i got to resort to web mail. Any other way to help? Please!

Sean,

I’m not sure this method works for Outlook Express too (I’ve not tested it and I don’t have a machine to test it on right now.)

Head over to the forums and I’m sure you’ll get a solution.

I had the same problem (XP). I tried all kind of possible solutions from the internet, including ideas above. In my case, the problem was that my internet security options were too strict. I set them all to low and had no problems with the password. I then increased the settings to a level compatible with Outlook.
Control Panel - Internet Options - Privacy - use the slider.

Thank you so much for this. I was getting so annoyed with putting in a password each time.
