I’ve had an old HTC Diamond for ages, running Windows Mobile 6.1, which at the time was a great phone (it was in the early days of the Smart Phone Era. Before apps took control over the mobile world). I tried the iPhone for a while, but could never bring myself to like it (or it’s locked down security tight OS). I decided to revert back to HTC, and this time the HD2. Of course this running Windows Mobile 6.5 doesn’t make it a great phone either. Microsoft didn’t go all out on this one, in regards to software quality, drivers, and app availability. But the hardware … Now That’s impressive. Too bad I was stuck on Windows – or was I?

Windows Fonts Megapack [Free Download]

Update 1/31/2012: As MegaUpload was taken down, I moved the font zip to mintywhite servers (and got by the 20 MB file limit.) Please only download if you want a ton of fonts. The file is quite large (79.3 MB) but hopefully it’s quite convenient (plus, all the applicable licenses and credit is included for the authors that worked so hard on these fonts.)
Many readers have asked me to compile all the fonts, from this website, into one megapack. Today, James, a reader of Windows Guides gave me the push I’ve needed and I put them all together.

Over the last 16 weeks, we’ve released 16 wallpaper packs—each with up to 50 wallpapers*. In this post, we recap these collections and provide links to them all. Have fun finding a new desktop wallpaper!
*One of the wallpaper sites we usually link to has changed its design and is now riddled with ads. Because of this, I’ve removed all links to this site, which takes the number slightly lower than 800.
