Most of the vista applications are covered in 70-291 and sometimes in 70-649. This is why someone who has a 70-270 or even an advanced 646-204 to his credit is less likely to know his way about vista. It is high time that this is included in the curriculum of 642-901.

This is just what i want. Perfect
!!!
This came up with a virus from windows defender. also it will did not create a restore point I had to re install vista co’z of this.
I have heard this can cause false positives, but I am sure this is not a virus, worm, trojan horse or anything like that.
It is important to create a restore point before you make any major change like this.
I am sorry that you had so much grief with this and I have modified the guide to make sure no one else needs to re-install Vista after using this.
This works and looks great…
I had done a few restore points before - it was just a matter of getting windows to actually use them… fortunately I did. I did not like this theme at all - and it does not work with UAC.
@Matt - Good to know. Some people experience problems with it and I wish I could work out why.
Works like a treat.
Nice set, I am not sure whether to use this one, or one of the other six on this site!
Ha! I have a mac now! Well kinda
I am using this and I can think I really want a Mac now!
With all the icons on this site you can make a sweet desktop with this pack!
This is a high quality pack
To debunk a myth: these transformation packs are NOT resource hogs. They just change what’s displayed on your screen and may take a few more CPU cycles to do so… it’s not like you have to have them “running” all the time!
Nice program. I downloaded it and it makes Vista look like a Leopard OS. Beware when you download the “Mirror” file from here though. Avast found tons of viruses!
Very nice, but I prefer the Vista theme. Mac is a bit cartoony for me
Thanks Jason. I’m going to download a copy now and run some tests on the file. I’ll remove the link if necessary.
This just wastes ram. You may as well just buy a mac!!
nice, thx minty
Please, please, PLEASE make a 64-bit edition, so that I can apply this to my PC. I haven’t yet come across a single theme that works on my 64-bit vista machine, so you’ll be a first.
Yes, a 64-bit version would be greatly appreciated.
WOW Thanks aloT! i love this… mac looks so much cooler =p
mr mintywhite please do not include software that will make problem with vista. i was able to restore my laptop when i decided not to use this software but the themes and other features from the software remain in my pc.nd, i cannot run my recovery manager (hp laptop) now.
allan, I’m sorry you had troubles. This can be avoided by ensuring you read the complete guide:
there should be a 64bit edition on http://www.vistaosx.net/download.htm
to allan from 22: You can delete the theme from C:\Windows\Resources\Themes.
After you install this, you have to decide if you want to keep this pack on your computer or not. After a month, the system restore will not me able to restore your computer to its Vista form and you will have to reinstall Vista.
P.S. You can change the theme but the login background will stay the same.
@The Man - Thanks for the tip. As a side note: you can change the login screen with Logon Studio Vista.
does it work on vista ultimate version ????
me is doesn’t work icons (i have usual vista icon)in local disk c
