If you use Vista on a laptop, you may find your battery life isn’t great. I updated my computer from XP to Vista about over a year ago and I must say I noticed a significant (10%+) loss in battery life. Honestly, I don’t mind, but I’ve been testing Vista Battery Saver for a couple of weeks and now I want to share it with www.mintywhite.com readers.

Vista battery saver disables the battery draining sidebar and aero interface — saving your battery for longer use.

is there a way to turn aero and sidebar off w/out dling this or is this one of the easiest way? is this software also ad free?
Rich
Yes, the software is ad free.
You can turn the sidebar off, by right clicking it and selecting exit. Turn Aero off by opening the display properties (right click the desktop and select personalize), click theme, and then change the theme from Aero.
Hope that helps.
