Remove Unwanted Software - Introducing The PC Decrapifier

The PC Decrapifier is designed to remove a specific list unwanted software in an unattended fashion. The PC Decrapifier will run on any Windows XP or Vista variant. The PC does not need to be new, however, the older the PC is, the less likely it will have any of the software that it can detect.

Simply download the file above, and run the EXE. There is no installer necessary. If you have anti-virus software installed, it may complain about this program because it is written with a scripting language. These warnings can be safely ignored.
When it runs, you will be presented with a wizard style dialog box that steps you through the entire process.
You will be able to pick and choose what you want to remove.
It will not begin removing anything without prompting you first!
Hit the “Next” button and it will begin cleaning your PC. If it does not find anything a pop-up box will notify you of this and the program will exit and not modify your PC.

does it uninstall everything related to the software i’m removing, especially all the registry entries? I’ve been looking for a very good uninstaller software but I’m not sure which one to get since many of them advertise that their software is the best and that it uninstall everything. I don’t mind paying for it as long as it’s reasonably prized and actually uninstall everything and can do it fast.
I’ve used My Uninstaller before–it’s free and runs fast but couldn’t uninstall everything. Also used Uninstaller Pro but it was too slow coz it has to monitor each install but it didn’t uninstall everything either. Kindly let me know if you have other uninstaller alternatives that meets my requirements.

It does a pretty good job. I would just use Windows standard uninstaller and CCleaner. Cleaning past that point produces diminishing returns.
I definitely agree with Rich about CCleaner. I’ve had my laptop since April of 2006 and I had never cleaned the registry before. I couldn’t believe all the useless files that CCleaner found in my registry that were left over after I had uninstalled software I knew I wouldn’t use that came with my laptop.
All together,CCleaner found close to 15,000 useless files, which took up about 350 mb of space. CCleaner also gives an option to save those files as a document for backup. After using it, I checked to make sure all my other programs were working properly. Once I made sure all my programs were working properly, I deleted the document with useless registry files. My laptop is much faster now, especially during start up.
Rich, I owe you thanks for writing about CCleaner in your Windows Pocket Guide. CCleaner is a great program and I would recommend it to anyone.
