Most virus checking programs rely on file signatures and blacklists to detect viruses on your computer; ThreatFire is different. ThreatFire does not rely on signatures, but instead constantly analyzes behavior on your computer to detect and block any malicious activity. No longer do you have to wait for a patch, ThreatFire will take care of a problem as soon as it arises.
About Threatfire
Whenever I review a program here on Windows Guides, I like to spend some time using it first and making sure it truly is of value to readers. When I tested ThreatFire, I was impressed by how little system resources this program used. The program automatically updates and runs in the background so you really don’t know this protecting you it is.
I highly recommend this program if you are not currently happy with your virus checker or if your current virus program is slow and constantly needs attention to keep it up to date.

I’m wondering the same thing as Karla Sue. Would I need to uninstall AVG or can I have both? I also use Windows Defender. I have the rootkit with AVG and I like that feature.
