Uniblue Registry Booster 2010 Features

As I mention in the cons section above, some people are wary of registry cleaning tools. To make sure this tool was any good, I did a highly scientific (read: not scientific in the slightest) test, which used other registry cleanup programs to determine whether or not this program is all hype. Basically, I used Advanced SystemCare Pro, Glary Utilities, and TuneUp Utilities 2010 to scan the registry for errors. Somewhere, out there, is the text file I saved (i.e., I lost it), which stated exaclty how many errors were found with each tool. I then scanned my registry with Unible Registry Booster 2010 and found 279 errors, which was very close to the number of errors the other programs reported.

I then fixed the errors and was informed I now had 0 errors…

Really? I thought to myself.

So, I went back and with Advanced SystemCare Pro, Glary Utilities, and TuneUp Utilities 2010 I did another registry scan. They all came back with errors. Some registry entries are flagged as an “error” when really they’re just not optimized way the program wants to have it i.e. the default time for the start menu to pop up is something like 500ms; some optimizing programs would rather this figure be 300ms or 200ms etc. Thus, errors were still flagged, but the highest was about 43 from Advanced SystemCare. For those of you asking yourself… why did he rely on other programs to test the registry and not look himself? To answer your question:

  1. I have no idea how to do that for every error.
  2. By the time I figured that out, we wouldn’t be using a registry any more (the registry was scraped with Windows 11 :)

In conclusion, this product works, and it works well. You can download a trial below to see if it is really worth it to you.
