Turn on an Alert Sound When You Press Caps/Num/Scroll Lock
Windows Vista Guides, Windows XP Guides Add commentsWhen you are typing and you accidentally hit the Caps Lock key, you may find you have to retype a whole sentence. In this guide, you’ll learn how to turn toggle keys on so a sound plays when you hit the Caps, Scroll, and Num Lock keys.
Turn on Beeps after Hitting a Lock Key
1. Press Start > Control Panel
2. Double click Accessibility Options (Vista users type toggle in the search box)
3. Select the ToggleKeys checkbox
4. Press OK
Now you will be alerted when the lock keys are pressed.
