I looked arround but couldn't find anything on this issue. Every so often my computer will annouce that DcomLaunch has terminated unexpectedly and the computer will shut down. I've had the hardware checked professionally and the conmputer is running fine ( after replacing a balky memory stick) -but the annoyance still happens.

So .. what the heck is DcomLaunch, do I need it and if not how can I disable it ....(I tried through Task Maanger/Services and was told I couldn't ) and in the final analysis do I have to reformat and reload Vista.

BTW... I'm running Windows Vita Home Premium with the latest service pack with 2gbs of ram.
