when your installing windows, just choose to install in the network drive. and than you have to go to the BIOS and choose to boot up the network drive. than for the restore point thing, just right click computer, properties, and than go to advanced settings, than go to the system restore tab and choose to have restore points on the network drive.

Yeah....ummm..........i'm not sure that's actually possible........i do stand to be corrected though!

How do you change the icon for your smartphone? I was successful on everything else, but that. What is its label in the registry?

I don't think that icon can be changed........the trick i shared with the registry (Exlorer.exe > Drives > C > IconDefault) will only work with drive letters assigned to it.
I'll have a look around the registry and let you know of i find a way of doing it ;)
