If you are using Windows XP, and you want to easily resize images from the right-click context menu, this guide is for you. Here’s how to do this in Vista.
My wife runs a website and she wanted an easy way to resize pictures, taken from our digital camera, to put on the site. She uses Windows XP and I recommended to the Image Resizer Powertoy. She now uses the tool for every article on her site and couldn’t be happier with its performance.
Installation takes a few seconds and the program is ready for use.
Just right click on any picture file and click Resize Pictures.
Choose a preset resolution or choose your own custom size.
Now you’ll have two files: the original and your resized version.
The tool couldn’t be more simple or lightweight. The program doesn’t need to run in the background, when it’s not in use, which means it will not affect the performance of your system.
