There are so many good websites out there; it can sometimes be hard to decide what to read and when to read it. One such good site is Technix Update, which is run by Abhishek Bhatnagar.

Technix Update focuses on computer tips and tricks and helps you get the most out of your PC. I am an RSS subscriber and I look forward to the newest posts, from which I’ve learned a lot.

Here are some links to get you started:

 • Technix Update
 • Technix Update RSS feed
 • Windows Vista Tips

Abhishek runs some other sites, too, which include:

 • Trouble Fixers - All About Fixing Computer Troubles
 • CarBlog India - All About Automobiles
 • Mobile Tips Tricks - Mobile Phone Tips and Tricks
 • Reality Tv Cut - A View On Indian Reality TV Shows
 • Sites To Use - Your Guide To Useful Sites

I have Vista 32bit Desktop PC Pavilion s3100 series and have somewhere around $100,000 specialty software and I want to protect at any cost as I could not get it if I loose for any reason.
I am looking for safe upgrades, suggestions for Vista SP2 OS installed very recently.
I can get tricks and tips, you are welcome.

My suggestion is to make a backup of all that software. In the forums, you’ll learn a lot about computer security and safety.

http://www.vistax64.com and http://www.sevenforums.com/ are good sites and run by the same group. I know it says 64bit in the address but most of the guides are for 32bit too.
The guides are (most times) comprehensive, up-to-date, and have intelligent questions & answers.

http://www.techsupportforum.com/ is another goodun. The help i got here when my external hard drive was failing was second to none. The community isn’t very friendly, and sometimes getting attention can be difficult (they have a lot of questions). But, if your having big problems with your PC, you can get expert help here.

It really feels so glad to see my site recommended here, I was on vacation could comment before. It is a great pleasure and honor to read all this, thanks a lot to Rich for the recommendation. :)
