Hi. How much difference is there between ddr2’s and ddr3’s in providing more processing speed,if any???? Also,is there much difference between the new I7 processer and quad core??? Finally, is it true that a 64 bit OS can support up to 16GB’s of ram???

John — DDR3 runs at a higher frequency and it universally faster. I7 Processors are a newer technology and I would advise against purchasing an I7 processor just yet — unless you need top performance now. Yes, 64 bit can support 16 EB of RAM, which is 16,000,000,000 GB of RAM.
