The Add-on manager in Firefox now has a “Get Add-ons” option, which displays five recommended add-ons for you to download. In this guide you’ll learn how to increase that number; thus, improving your chances of finding really helpful add-ons.

Increase the Number of Recommended Add-ons

This tip is really simple to follow and requires you to do the following:

  1. Type about:config into the address bar and press enter
  2. Agree to be careful
  3. Type extensions.getAddons.maxResults into the filter field
  4. Double click on the result and change the value from 5 to a higher number (8 maximum)
