@ Silver_127 - Well, AVG is "nagware" ...... you'll be nagged to upgrade to paid version, etc! Avast and MSE [Microsoft Security Essentials] are the freebies to go for in my opinion, they are good products ...... with better detection rates than AVG too. - No "adware or nagware" with Avast or MSE either and updates are very frequent, daily in fact with Avast! :D

MSE is the way to go, as randomchaos said, AVG is almost considered adware now.
