I tried a lot to make it work but I don't find a solution, I also googled !!

The Windows 7 system connects to the internet by Wireless adapter to the router of my neighbor( he's a friend :P). I connected the XP system by ethernet cable to my 7 system. Of course, to the NIC of each system. The two systems belong to the same workgroup but they cannot see each other. I have enabled Internet Connection Sharing on the 7 system. I tried to automatically and manually configure the TCP/IPv4 settings of the card on the XP system. Automatically, doesn't connect at all. Manually, it just enters the LAN but still cannot connect to the Internet.

Any help?

I found that after the installation of Windows 7 I didn't install the drivers of my ethernet adapter.

How Am I supposed to do this..? In the Drivers folder there is no *.exe..

Just the files that you see in the screenshot. Also, I cannot find the adapter in Device Manager to use the Update Driver feature.

Hey... It's me again..! :P

I solved my problem.. My ethernet adapter was not present on Windows Device Manager because I had it disabled in the CMOS setup utility Settings...

I enabled it, installed its driver and set the TCP/IPv4 settings to "automatically detect".

That was it... Hours spent for a forgotten setting in CMOS...

Thanks for readingg !!!
