How do I rip DVDs to my hard drive? :(

Programs that do this are pretty hard to come across, and there is no way to do this natively in Windows; my guess is to avoid copyright infringement through the illegal sharing of files. If you wanted to do this to make a personal backup copy of your own DVD collection, however, I would do it by using a program such as MagicISO maker to create a disc image file of the DVD and just mount it on Virtual CloneDrive or other .iso mounting software to run the DVD.
