I've been reading lots of reviews for this Internet Explorer Add-On http://www.ie7pro.com/ and I just wondered if anyone on here has used it or is currently using it?? It seems to have a lot of worthy features such as Ad Block and Flash Block and being as I find IE8 a bit sluggish, I have rolled back to IE7. This add-on looks useful but the reviews seem to vary from "really good" to "doesn't work"!! ...... :?

I've found that it works very nicely on IE8.
Try it for yourself randomchaos, it's good ;)

rsvr85 - Well believe it or not,I think I read a user review [I think it may have been on CNET] that said it didn't work on IE8 ..... ?? But if you say it works fine then so be it! Cheers! :)

randomchaos .. as rsvr85 said .. it works with IE8, and works well.

I've been using it since IE8 beta and haven't had a problem yet. Your right .. it IS a nice addition.

rsvr85 & jpbrogan - Ok thanks. I read quite varying user reviews on CNET about this add-on, including that it was a "resource hog" [by that I presume the person meant RAM usage] and "didn't work on IE8" - I may give it a whirl anyway and see how it fairs on my PCs.
- [It can be a bit daunting reading lots of user reviews and a bit perplexing, but one has to always remember that they are INDIVIDUAL experiences and I suppose the "proof of the pudding is in the eating"!!]

I've checked IE8 memory usage with and without IE7Pro and only saw a few KB increase. Nothing I'm worried about for the benefits. :)

jpbrogan - But surely the features in IE7Pro are included anyway in the IE8 browser itself ....??

IE7Pro does have some redundancy but everything is in one place and easy to find and change .. a lot different then with the IE8 'tools' option. ;)

jpbrogan - Ok thanks. I'll give it a whirl, i just hope it doesn't slow IE7 down :)- The reason I rolled back to IE7 in the first place is that I find it is definitely faster than IE8 [on my Vista and my XP-Pro]

@ randomchaos - I never tried it with IE7, why not try reinstaling IE8 and install the IE7 Pro Add-On.
I have the same gripe as you, IE8 is sluggish, however, I've found it speeds things up slightly ;)
