Todo Backup Protects and Restores Your Data
Windows Guides’ Rating | Compatible with |
3.5 out of 5 |
PROS: Some backup software is outright scary–with complicated expressions and words (AES, synchronization, encryption etc.)–this program is not scary at all. EASUES Todo Backup is simple to use and, although limited with options, does the job. CONS: Version 1.1 is a lot more polished. I had some problems getting version 1.0 to work. Although I praise this program for being simple, I would like to see better support for network backups, online backup (Amazon S3, SkyDrive etc.), and automation. Windows Backup can perform most of the functions this program can. VERDICT: If you’re looking for a free backup solution and find Windows Backup doesn’t do what you need, you should give this program a try. PRICE: Free VERSION REVIEWED: 1.0 & 1.1 DOWNLOAD: EASEUS Todo Backup |
Photovisi Creates Collages of Your Photos
Windows Guides’ Rating | Compatible with |
4.5 out of 5 |
PROS: Creates free collages and is simple. This tool does what it claims and does it well. CONS: I love the simplicity of this tool, but I find it a little too simple. It would be nice to crop and edit the individual images right there on the site, but I realize this isn’t the intention of the tool. VERDICT: This free tool is great. I’d give it a try. PRICE: Free. Option to buy items with your collage printed on them.

SSH into your (Jailbroken) device [How To]
“Secure Shell or SSH is a network protocol that allows data to be exchanged using a secure channel between two networked devices. Used primarily on Linux and Unix based systems to access shell accounts, SSH was designed as a replacement for Telnet and other insecure remote shells, which send information, notably passwords, in plaintext, leaving them open for interception. The encryption used by SSH provides confidentiality and integrity of data over an insecure network, such as the Internet.”
What SSH’ing your device will allow, is customizing almost every part of your device.
A working Wi-Fi connection will be required for this guide.
